While studying, Philippe took on any chance to travel. This brought him to co-founding the Association Music & Exploration which was the start to extensive traveling and his first media works.

The difficulty of bringing back the story lead him to exploring alternative ways of revealing things. Gradually, this took him from a journalistic to an artistic approach.

Starting lHYPERterritoire project.

2007-2008
Author of "humans were water" a Video Audio and Water Interactive Art Installation questioning humans' relation to the environment in time. This project was exhibited in CCF (Centre Culturel Francais) Siem Reap - Angkor City.

2006-2007
Author of Green Decibels (www.greendecibels.net), an oral petition against Global Warming.

2005-2006
Author of   "Samples of the Ghats / BollyPlage" a responsive installation / sensitive documentary (www.samplesof.net), that allows you to re-create the atmosphere of Haridwar/India by interaction. This project was exhibited in Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie/Paris and at the Accelerator/London.

1997-2001
Author of "dans 1 bouteille" (+ download), a novel in which 2 young and naive travelers write about their trip in Atlantis. A place they never came back from, for it does not exist...

1994-1998
Video, Photo and Sound works in Central African and Central Asia.

Co-editor and designer of a book on health issues dedicated to teenagers from Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam.

2007
In charge of developing an exhibition space at London Metropolitan University and coordinating its first student show (www.b-39.net).

Visiting lecturer for the New Media department at London Metropolitan University where I taught in interactive environment, web design and graphic design courses.

2005-2006
Freelance work in various arts projects including vinst project (www.ewaeckerle.com) and re-possessed project (www.re-possessed.com).

In charge of media projects (Web, Newsletters, Leaflets) for the International Affairs Department at the French National School of Public Health.

Various jobs in the Middle East. Member of Cridev, a NGO involved in North-South relations. Co-Editor of a Newspaper on Cairo for a Cinema Festival.

Concerning Media Softwares, I use Max-MSP-Jitter, Flash, Dreamweaver, Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Quark X-press, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Maya.

Others skills would be Photo, Video, I play with GPS, I can manage myself most of the time and I am not too bad at managing my own projects.

Language wise, first comes French (native), then English, several years in London help... then comes Spanish, after so much hard work in school + quite similar to French... then comes Russian, enough to have conversations... and finally, I am Khmer beginner ...
