When travelling you are often mislead by rendering what you are experiencing
through the prism of your own culture. You think you are getting it, while
you are actually "misunderstanding" what is happening around. With
some time, you realise that you are out of touch, that you have had wrong
interpretations... Actually, you start understanding that you are "not
understanding" at all. This is the cultural shock. With much more time,
you hopefully end up making sense, you are "understanding" somehow.
